Make your tests. Don’t listen to what gurus say as if it’s a bible.
Every day, my inbox is filled with newsletters. I’m a sucker for email, didn’t you know? đ
In one of those newsletters, GrowthHackingIdea which consistently shares some insights on how to improve our stats, this was the knowledge of the day:
“The total revenue of Bionic Gloves increased by a handsome +24.7% and Revenue Per Visitor (RPV) by +17.1%.

It’s not that mindblowing đ¤Ż. What’s it’s interesting to me is that we’re being told that if we give an additional offer or promo in the checkout page, we get more sales. That might work in many cases, but it’s not the same for everyone.
Don’t Just Trust Gurus, Test it First
Do your own tests. It’s good to gather knowledge from people with much experience in a subject. But then, make your own tests and see which works best for your case in particular.
I work with email marketing for more than 20 years and in performance marketing for as much as I remember. Still, I learn something new every day. We need to be humble about it and look at every new project or client with open eyes and mind.
