Everyone is kind of spreading the idea that everything is going to be ok, but deep down, it’s clear that it’s not. There’s a significant probability that ourselves or someone we know is going to be truly affected by this epidemic and even die. It’s even crueller since we can’t support the ones that are going to be in the grief of burying their loved ones.
While we’re enduring this social isolation and trying to get the hand of this virus, a lot of jobs and businesses are going to be really hurt or just vanish in a couple of days, weeks or months.
I’m not trying to be a pessimist. Just quite transparent about the very likely outcome of this situation. So, it’s not going to be ok. It’s almost an affront to the ones that are already feeling the impact.
However, there’s also something we all know, as well. We’ll endure and come back – different – yet, stronger.
The lessons will be valuable and impact an entire generation. Some of those lessons we can already express: be humble, be flexible, be responsible, be more human while at a distance.
We need each other more than ever. The world is not against you, personally. The world is changing, and you need to change with it. That is all!
