After working out on the beach, a simple question on my social networks originated a rant about Email Marketing. One of my passions.
After years of doing Email Marketing, this is still one of the biggest misconceptions about this marketing channel. The simple question is: “What’s the best email platform for me?”
Email Marketing is NOT a Platform
As if changing your email platform would make all the difference in your email marketing. It will not. What’s wrong with your email marketing is not the platform you’re using. It’s most likely because you haven’t implemented email marketing best practices in your strategy.
Even worse, you’re literally losing tons of insights and data that would help you segment and define subscribers’ clusters to send them then more relevant emails. It’s a bad thing all the way.
